The department has OPD, indoor and ICU facilities managed by a team of psychiatrists , clinical psychologists and support staff.
1. Indoor facilities include general wards, semi private wards, and AC private rooms.
2. Facilities like EEG and ECT are available in house.
3. Drug de-addiction : Alcohol, opium, capsules, smack, smoking, cannabis, cocaine, nicotine.
4. Treatment of marital and sexual problems.
5. Treatment of stress and other life style disorders, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, hysteria.
6. Treatment of psychosomatic illnesses like schizophrenia
7. Non pharmacological treatments: Biofeedback, relaxation therapy, psychotherapy , behavior therapy, counseling, stress management and anger control.
8. Geriatric services: Poor concentration, memory problem, weakness of mind, dementia, confusion.
9. Specialized clinic: Headache and epilepsy.
10. Psychological testing: Assessment of I.Q., personality
11. Child guidance services: Behavioral problems, learning difficulties, aggression, hyperactivity disorder, phobia, stubbornness.
12. Admission facility for patients showing violent, aggressive, suicidal and psychotic tendencies
