In an effort to promote the standard of healthcare, Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib (C) Hospital, Ludhiana is planning to invest time and resources in the advancement of infrastructure. The department of Radio Diagnosis will be introducing OPG, DR System and MRI. Luminescence Technology, Harmonic Scalpel Surgery will soon be coming to the hospital in the near future. There are plans to establish an IUI Laboratory and Audiometry and Speech Therapy services. The hospital has already introduced few super specialties i.e. Plastic Surgery, Gastroenterology, Urology and Neurosurgery. Lab. Robotic Surgery for joint replacement and laser therapy for skin problems are also on the cards. To be able to keep up with the increasing demand of paramedics, the hospital has recently started “Short Term Courses for Paramedics in Operation Theater Attendant and Hospital and Home Based Care Attendant. Efforts are on for starting DNB in various specialties.
